PATH
These works are my attempt at writing poetry, a poetry without words or a poetry where words are physical entities, small pieces of slate or shell, individually cut with a hardy and a hammer. As in a text, the meaning is given by the rightful positioning of words within the fabric of the text, both semantically and syntactically, the same occurs in these works where each tiny insignificant piece of slate becomes an intrinsic part of a whole, the same way each journey is made out of small steps…and all these steps create in the end a narrative, a direction, a destination. To hold both these concepts, that’s where poetry lays to me.
